Antiques: what's it worth?

Q. Could you tell me anything more about this small cream ware ware See Groupware, Hardware, Shareware, Software.  teapot, which was the property of my late aunt? As you can see from the photograph, it is about 7 ins overall; too small to be of practical use. The figure on the top appears to be a dog.

A very faded paper label in the lid appears to say 1856 (but could be 1866 or even 1886). There is a faint imprint im·print

 on the base which says Wedgwood. I wonder if it is Josiah or Delboy Wedgwood?

A. This is definitely not Delboy Wedgwood, made at the real Wedgwood factory of Josiah Wedgwood in about 1856. The decoration in this instance is what is known as high relief, it is not applied to the surface but it is actually cut out.

I cannot establish from the photo the type of glaze glaze, in pottery
glaze, translucent layer that coats pottery to give the surface a finish or afford a ground for decorative painting. Glazes—transparent, white, or colored—are fired on the clay.
 that has been used, it is too late to be salt glaze. Its value would be around pounds 50-pounds 100.
