She was born May 17, 1925 in Epiros, Greece and immigrated to Worcester, Mass after her marriage to Vasili "William" Koulisis. She became a U.S. citizen in 1952.

Ann is mother to Linda Koulisis of Los Angeles Los Angeles (lôs ăn`jələs, lŏs, ăn`jəlēz'), city (1990 pop. 3,485,398), seat of Los Angeles co., S Calif.; inc. 1850. , CA and to Dr. Christo Koulisis of Niceville, FL. Survivors include her brother, Panagiotes Sotiriou of Athens, Greece; sister, Toula Petsinis of Hannover, Germany; grandchildren, William, Alexandra, and Nicholas Koulisis; along with numerous nieces, nephews and friends both stateside state·side
