The ad firm's contract with the transit authority allowed the firm to reject any material the company deemed to be "in bad taste or to be in violation of the existing laws, offensive to the moral standards of the community, false, misleading, or deceptive" or that "in any way reflects upon the character, integrity, or standing of any organization or individual."

The suit doesn't seek monetary damages Monetary damages, in civil law, refers to compensation given to an injured party by a liable party. Monetary damages may be restitution, a penalty, or both.  but instead asks that the transit authority be forced to run ads for another Focus conference, scheduled for this fall.
