An antifungal used topically or parenterally.
 is a waterproof antifungal cream that has been added to Span-America's Selan[R] skin care line. The zinc oxide zinc oxide, chemical compound, ZnO, that is nearly insoluble in water but soluble in acids or alkalies. It occurs as white hexagonal crystals or a white powder commonly known as zinc white.  and dimethicone ingredients in Selan+ AF combine to provide a moisture barrier to protect the skin.

Although there are many causes of jock itch, this term has become synonymous with
, ringworm ringworm or tinea (tĭn`ēə), superficial eruption of the skin caused by a fungus, chiefly Microsporum, Trichophyton, or Epidermophyton. , athlete's foot, and superficial yeast infections, as well as relieving the burning, itching, and redness associated with such conditions. Like all Selan products, Selan+ AF is petrolatum-free and will not clog diaper pores or impede the absorption of disposable undergarments. It is available in 2- and 4-oz tubes.
