Anti-life bullies in action.Brussels--Elitist jurists The following lists are of prominent jurists, including judges, listed in alphabetical order by jurisdiction. See also list of lawyers. Antiquity
European Community seem set on enforcing laws and policies in all their member-states that will result in the type of population dearth visible in the original founder nations. Their current targets are the traditionally Catholic nations of Ireland, Malta, Poland and Portugal. The laws the E.U. is pushing all its members to adopt relate primarily to abortion and homosexual 'rights.' Legal sanctions, mainly cuts in financial aid, are being threatened in order to force countries to adopt such legislation. A referendum on Portugal's abortion laws was recently completed. (See separate item under Portugal.) Ireland has been at the receiving end of E.U. generosity for many years. Its escalating prosperity has been paralleled by diminishing religious practice and moral standards. Tiny Malta still holds out with support from British pro-life groups. Poland, under a staunchly Catholic president, Lech Lech (lĕkh), river, c.175 mi (280 km) long, rising in Vorarlberg, W Austria, and flowing NE into S Germany past Augsburg to the Danube River. The Wertach River is its chief tributary. Kaczynski, continues to keep abortion illegal. Mr. Kaczynski and his deputy, Roman Giertych Roman Jacek Giertych, (IPA: ['rɔman 'gʲɛrtɨx], born 27 February 1971 in Śrem, Poland) is a Polish politician, Deputy Prime Minister and was Minister of Education until August 2007. , have both recently spoken out on the deleterious deleterious adj. harmful. influence of the homosexual culture--and of course, have been lambasted vehemently by the European liberal media. Mr. Giertych, speaking at a recent conference of education ministers, warned, "A continent that kills its children will be settled by people who do not kill theirs." This is in reference to the expanding Muslim population in Europe. It will be interesting to watch the reaction of the secular Muslim country of Turkey to such E.U. bullying. Turkey is presently applying for membership in the group. The European Union claims that its laws must be supreme over national laws in individual member-nations. In France, a founding member, people are beginning to realise that their national sovereignty is being threatened. In 2005 France and the Netherlands voted against acceptance of the European Constitution, a move that surprised and shocked the bureaucrats. New York--The E.U. is not the only international bully in the world's forum. The United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination Against Women (CEDAW CEDAW Convention to Eliminate All Forms of Discrimination Against Women (United Nations) CEDAW Component Explosives Damage Assessment Workbook (reference for blast effects software modeling) ) dominated by radical feminists is still pressuring all U.N. members to ratify its convention. CEDAW leaders regard this treaty as superseding superseding taking over a case of a patient under treatment by another veterinarian. In general terms this is poor professional etiquette unless the other veterinarian has been consulted and agrees to the change. national laws (LifeSiteNews, Mar. 2, 2007). |
