 in Jackson. The double-ring candlelight ceremony was performed by Rev. Scott Copeland, cousin of the groom. Nuptial music was provided by Mr. Ray Mattox, pianist and uncle of the bride, Mr. Andrew Swanner, organist, and Mrs. April Savell, soloist and sister-in-law of the groom.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William J. Clayton of Sardis and Mr. and Mrs. Allen C. Anthony of Pope. She is the granddaughter of Mr. and Mrs. Herman G. Mattox of Sardis and the late Mr. and Mrs. W.L. Anthony of Pope.

The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Hillen C. Savell of Jackson. He is the grandson of Mrs. Marguerite Savell and the late Mr. J.C. Savell and the late Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Burton, all of Philadelphia.

Given in marriage by her stepfather, the bride wore a gown of organza or·gan·za
