Initiative extends Diversinet's leadership position in

Diversinet (NASDAQ:DVNT)(CDN:DVNT.), a leading provider of m-commerce security solutions, today announced plans to establish a UK office, which will serve as the headquarters of their European operations. Mr. Anthony Lloyd-Weston joins the UK office, located in London, as head of Diversinet's European management team.

Previously, he was employed at Martin Dawes Telecommunications (now part of BT Cellnet Lumina), where he was directly responsible for the world's first mobile banking service delivered for The Co-operative Bank, in conjunction with Vodafone. More recently, as a Business Consultant with Brokat, a leading international provider of software for e-Business solutions, he developed the company's mobile pre-sales activities in Northern Europe.
