Following a four-year stint as superintendent of Johnston County School District in Smithfield, N.C., Anthony Parker has moved into the superintendency of the 28,500-student Berkeley County School District in Moncks Corner, S.C. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran, Parker worked as superintendent in Beaufort, N.C., for three years and as superintendent in Whiteville, N.C., for two years. He also served four principalships in Cumberland, Robeson and Red Springs, N.C. Parker completed an Ed.D. in educational administration from Nova Southeastern University.
