Anthony Joseph Trippi.


WORCESTER - Anthony Joseph Anthony Joseph is a Trinidad-born avant garde poet, novelist, Spoken word performer and musician.

Joseph was born in Trinidad in 1966 and has lived in the United Kingdom since 1989.
 Trippi, 90, of Worcester, died Tuesday, Oct. 28, in UMass Memorial Hospital.

He leaves his wife of 59 years, Nancy M. (Leary) Trippi; two sons, Paul A. Trippi and his wife, Sharon, of West Boylston, and Charles F. Trippi and his wife, Gail, of Shrewsbury; a daughter, Susan M. Trippi of Lawrence; a brother, William Trippi of Shrewsbury; a sister, Rose Fazio of Worcester; three grandchildren: Heather, Holly and Heath Trippi. Two brothers, Angelo and Frank Trippi, predeceased him. He was born in New York City New York City: see New York, city.

Mr. Trippi was employed by Doherty High School as an art teacher for close to 40 years, retiring in 1988. He previously taught at the former High School of Commerce and Woonsocket High School Woonsocket High School can refer to:

. He was a co-owner of Tri-Mer Advertising in Worcester. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran. He was a member of Pleasant Valley Country Club for over 30 years, was a Tiffany Foundation Fellow, a member of Blessed Sacrament Church, an avid golfer and he enjoyed painting.

The funeral was Friday, Oct. 31, from O'Connor Brothers Funeral Home, Worcester, with a Mass in Blessed Sacrament Church, Worcester. Burial was in Worcester County Memorial Park, Paxton. Memorial contributions may be made to the Boys and Girls boys and girls
