Anteon awarded major contract to support Army units.


Anteon International Corporation (NYSE NYSE

: ANT), a leading information technology and systems engineering and integration company, announced recently that it has been awarded a five-year contract to provide support to U.S. Army units and installations worldwide through the U.S. Army Forces Command (FORSCOM FORSCOM United States Army Forces Command ) in Atlanta, Georgia. The contract titled Operations, Planning, Training, and Resource Support Services support services Psychology Non-health care-related ancillary services–eg, transportation, financial aid, support groups, homemaker services, respite services, and other services  (OPTARSS OPTARSS Operations, Planning, Training and Resource Support Services ), is a multiple award contract available for Army-wide use and has a total value limit of $650 million for all task orders issued. The contract value for Anteon is projected to be approximately $80 million, if all options are exercised.

The Anteon Team will provide support in each of the OPTARSS contract task areas: operational planning; training; modeling and simulation; flight operations; mobilization plans and execution; deployment operations; C4I C4I Command, Control, Communications, Computers, & Intelligence (US DoD)
C4I Command Control Communications Computer and Intelligence
 system management; program management processes; force protection; Army transformation support and Army organizational support.

We currently have personnel working at the vast majority of U.S. Army locations worldwide, supporting a wide range of mission critical programs. Under this OPTARSS contract, we look forward to significantly expanding our efforts in making key contributions in support of the Army's operations, training, systems integration and transformation programs."
