Anteon Awarded $28.9M Contract to Design and Operate Advanced Training Technology Laboratory for the U.S Joint Forces Command.

FAIRFAX, Va. -- Anteon International Corporation (NYSE:ANT), a leading information technology and systems engineering and integration company, announced today that it was awarded a five-year contract to design, establish, support, operate and maintain the U.S. Joint Forces Command's (USJFCOM) Joint Advanced Training Technology Laboratory (JATTL). The total estimated value of this contract, if all options are exercised, is $28.9 million.

The JATTL will provide the capability to: evaluate, mature and certify training technologies, standards, architectures and capabilities before they are adopted into the Global Joint Training Infrastructure environment; identify, evaluate and solve joint training shortfalls and develop new tools, processes and products; and replicate the conditions and requirements for an exercise or concept exploration.

Anteon will provide information technology and engineering support services in a number of areas including: modeling and simulation; joint command and control (JC2) and intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) systems; IT security; database design; opposing forces (OPFOR) technologies; instrumentation, data collection and after action review technologies; and knowledge management systems. Anteon personnel will participate in research, development, test & evaluation activities to identify, evaluate, and validate modeling and simulation products and capabilities that will ultimately fulfill Joint National Training Capability training requirements.
