Anteon Awarded $19.8M U.S. Marine Corps Radar Systems Contract; New Systems Development Support for Mission Critical 3D Long-Range and Ground/Air Task-Oriented Radar Systems for the Marine Corps Systems Command.

FAIRFAX, Va. -- Anteon International Corporation (NYSE:ANT), a leading information technology, systems integration and engineering services company, today announced that it has been awarded a contract by the Marine Corps Systems Command to provide engineering, modeling and simulation, logistics, and program management support to the United States Marine Air Ground Task Force Command and Control (MAGTF C2) Weapons and Sensors Development and Integration (MC2I) Product Director. The estimated value of this contract, if all options are exercised, is $19.8 million over a three-year period of performance.

Anteon will provide engineering, acquisition, and logistical support for the development of two new radar systems - the 3D Highly Expeditionary Long Range Air Surveillance Radar System (HELRASR) and the Ground/Air Task Oriented Radar (G/ATOR). Anteon will also provide engineering, modeling and simulation, program management, business, and acquisition management resources in support of existing Marine Corps Radar Systems such as the AN/TPS-59(V) 3, Long Range Air Surveillance Radar, and the AN/TPQ-46 Firefinder Radar. This development and support services work will be based out of Stafford, VA.
