Anteon Awarded $18.5M DoD Healthcare Services Contract by U.S. Air Force Surgeon General; Systems Integrator to Establish and Operate Patient Safety Program.

: ANT), a leading information technology, systems integration and engineering services company, today announced that it has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Air Force Surgeon General The U.S. Surgeon General is charged with the protection and advancement of health in the United States. Since the 1960s the surgeon general has become a highly visible federal public health official, speaking out against known health risks such as tobacco use, and promoting disease  to establish and operate the Military Health System Patient Safety (PS) Systems Support and Data Analysis Program at 34 Air Force sites across the continental United States United States territory, including the adjacent territorial waters, located within North America between Canada and Mexico. Also called CONUS.  (CONUS), Alaska, Germany, Italy, United Kingdom, Korea, and Japan. The estimated value of this contract, if all options are exercised, is $18.5 million over a five-year period of performance.
