Antenova Signs First Contract for Mobile Devices.


CAMBRIDGE, England -- Quadband Antenna Hits the Market in the Motorola A780

Innovative radio wave solutions provider Antenova today announced it has signed its first contract for mobile device antennas. Together with Galtronics, Antenova will supply the QUADNOVA(TM) antennae to Motorola, Inc. for use in the new Motorola A780 mobile device -- now available in the Asia market.

The QUADNOVA(TM) covers the AMPS 800, GSM 900, DCS 1800 and PCS 1900 bands. It has a volume of less than 3.5cc, and offers over 50% average terminal radiation efficiency over all four bands. It's a hybrid solution with a combination of ceramic and PIFA PIFA - Phenyliodine Bis (Trifluoroacetate)

 (Planar Inverted F Antenna) technology and has superb detuning characteristics thanks to the properties of Antenova's HDA HDA - Hampshire Deaf Association (UK)
