Antenna Software Names Jim Somers as Vice President of Marketing.


Industry Veteran Will Oversee Global Marketing and Strengthen Company's Leadership Position

JERSEY CITY, N.J. -- Antenna Software, Inc., the leading provider of wireless software solutions for the mobile enterprise, today announced the appointment of Jim Somers as Vice President of Marketing. With more than 15 years of experience in technology, communications and software industries, Somers joins Antenna as an accomplished marketing executive and is responsible for overseeing Antenna's global marketing initiatives.

As VP of Marketing, Somers is responsible for further amplifying Antenna's leadership voice in the enterprise mobility sector and building the company's customer footprint and product offerings across new and existing markets. Prior to joining Antenna, Somers was VP of Marketing for Fiberlink Communications Corp., a leading provider of mobile workforce solutions for global multinational enterprises. Somers also spent four years at AT&T as a Marketing Director in the company's Consumer Products Division, overseeing the launch of several new product initiatives including "00" INFO, One Rate Savings and the company's initial roll-out of Cable Broadband. Prior to AT&T, Somers worked for Ogilvy & Mather and Lintas Worldwide, supervising broadcast, print and direct-response advertising programs. Somers earned his Bachelor of Arts in Government & Law from Lafayette College Lafayette College is a private coeducational liberal arts college located in Easton, Pennsylvania, USA. The school, founded in 1826 by citizens of Easton, first began holding classes in 1832.  and lives in Northern New Jersey with his wife and three children.
