AntOro Resources Inc. and Procoloro Resources Inc.

BOUCHERVILLE, QUEBEC--(BUSINESS WIRE)--March 19, 1997--

Progress report on their joint activities in Columbia

ANTORO INC inc - /ink/ increment, i.e. increase by one. Especially used by assembly programmers, as many assembly languages have an "inc" mnemonic.

Antonym: dec.
. (ME:ORE.) POCOLORO INC. (ME:PCH PCH Paroxysmal cold hemoglobinuria, see there .) AntOro Resources Inc. and Procoloro Resources Inc. are pleased to announce the results of Phase II of their joint-venture activities in Colombia, South America. The latest have helped in finding a geological contact, overlain o·ver·lain

Past participle of overlie.
by a 700-m strike length area high in soil geochemistry values, intersecting the Mafafal creek, upstream from the site where auriferous au·rif·er·ous
adj.
Containing gold; gold-bearing.

[From Latin aurifer, gold-bearing : aurum, gold + -fer, -fer.
quartz boulders were discovered during the first phase of the joint- venture exploration activities.

The second exploration phase consisted of a geochemical soil survey and a geological survey on part of the northeast sector of the Mona II property. The purpose of this phase was to locate the area where the auriferous quartz boulders, with gold contents of 517.7 g/t Au and 155.8 g/t Au, originated. Finally, an old gallery showing the activities of a crade commercial production was found 100 meters from the survey area.

The survey carried out on a 1.5 km x 700 m grid was followed up with soil sampling at a depth of 1.4 m with a Pionjar drilling machine. The sampling lines were spaced every 100 m and sampling was done every 20 m. Several samples returned gold contents superior to 100 ppb Au.

In the whole region, soil geochemistry values exceeding 100 ppb Au are highly anomalous, indicating the presence of underlying auriferous structures. These samples came from geographically well-distributed sites indicating the presence of four neighboring anomalous area :

- Area 17 North Values between 100 and 1,500 ppb Au,

- Area 14 South Values between 111 and 1,900 ppb Au,

- Area 16 South Values between 68 and 373 ppb Au, and

- Area 19 South Values between 67 and 930 ppb Au.

The alignment of samples in Area 17 North corresponds approximately to the location of the contact between the Santa Isabel granitic intrusion and the enclosing acid gneiss gneiss (nīs), coarse-grained, imperfectly foliated, or layered, metamorphic rock. Gneiss is characterized by alternating light and dark bands differing in mineral composition and having coarser grains than those of schist. . The interpretation work of RadarSat images revealed the presence of a north-south lineament lin·e·a·ment

Common silicate mineral in the pyroxene family. Diopside is a calcium and magnesium silicate (CaMgSi2O6) that occurs in metamorphosed siliceous limestones and dolomites, in skarns, and in igneous rocks.
) in the enclosing granite. Such phenomenon is often a geological signature which definitely indicates the presence of gold.

Area 14 South is located in the southern prolongation of Area 17 North. Together, they form an area 700 m long, intersecting the Mafafal creek, 500 m upstream from the site where the high grade auriferous quartz boulders were discovered during the first phase of the works. Moreover, high geochemical values obtained from the surface samples are confirmed by the presence of high values in the samples taken deeper.

Area 16 South is located on the northeast gradient of the Mafafal creek, less than 600 m upstream from the location where the above- mentioned boulders were found. This area is marked by a significant density in the anomalous values and a gneiss outcrop containing quartz veins mineralized min·er·al·ize

Area 19 South is located on the NW axis of the the diameter of the sphere which is perpendicular to the plane of the circle.

Both companies are currently revising the results of the first two phases of the joint-venture activities. The activities on the Vallejo, Mona II and III properties are temporarily stopped awaiting additional financing.
