AntOro Resources Inc.: Acquisition of an Exploration Property in Quebec.MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--May 13, 1998-- ANTORO(ME:ORE.) AntOro Resources Inc. is pleased to announce the acquisition of an exploration property in Quebec. Called the "Senneterre" property, it is located 3 km. south-west of the town of Senneterre in the Abitibi region. The property consists of 10 contiguous claims covering a total area of 460 hectares and is accessible year-round using highway 113. The property was purchased from M. Roch Harvey of Chelsea (Quebec) for a price of $15,000 and the issuance of 250,000 common shares of AntOro Ressources Inc. A 1 percent N.S.R. is due upon commercial production on the property. The transaction is subject to the approval of the concerned regulatory authorities. The Senneterre property was sporadically explored between 1946 and 1978. It has never been the object of a systematic and continuous exploration program. Its most promising targets are located mainly along a quartz vein with an associated mineralisation of pyrite pyrite (pī`rīt) or iron pyrites (pīrī`tēz, pə–, pī`rīts), pale brass-yellow mineral, the bisulfide of iron, FeS2. , chalcopyrite and malachite malachite (măl`əkīt), a mineral, the green basic carbonate of copper occurring in crystals of the monoclinic system or (more usually) in masses. It is translucent or opaque; the luster is silky, vitreous, adamantine, or dull. . Identified in the mid-1950's, this vein is at least 130 m long, has an average width of 1 m and has a north-south direction Noun 1. north-south direction - in a direction parallel with lines of longitude direction, way - a line leading to a place or point; "he looked the other direction"; "didn't know the way home" . Surface sampling has resulted in grades of up to 2.5 percent Cu, 2.0 g/t Au and 17.1 g/t Ag.
