AntOro -- 50 Percent Option on Three Promising Mineral Deposits.

MONTREAL--(BUSINESS WIRE)--June 25, 1998--(ME:ORE) AntOro Resources Inc. is pleased to announce that it has signed a letter of intent with SOQUEM to acquire a 50 percent interest in the Clairy property. Located 115 km North of Chibougamau, the Clairy property is in the South-Eastern part of the Frotet-Troilus belt. Consisting of 108 claims, the property covers an area of 1,728 hectares (17.28 km2) and includes the De Maures, Yorbeau and Selco deposits.

The De Maures deposit contains indicated resources of 350,000 t. grading 7.84 percent Zn, 1.35 percent Cu and 22.31 g/t Ag. Drillings are expected to increase resources. The area West of Clairy hosts the Domergue deposit (1.2 Mt grading 3.35 percent Zn, 1.96 percent Cu and 0.72 g/t Au), the Moleon deposit (184,000 t grading 3.4 percent Zn and 1.56 percent Cu) and the Tortigny deposit (450,000 t grading 7.0 percent Zn,2.5 percent Cu, 66.0 g/t Ag and 0.3 percent Pb). All deposits are inside the Frotet-Troilus belt which also hosts the Troilus Troi·lus

mine (45 Mt grading 1.4 g/t Au and 0.15 percent Cu) and the Troilus Free Gold deposit (15,900 t grading 16.43 g/t Au).

The deposits are located in massive sulphides of volcanogenic vol·ca·no·gen·ic

AntOro can earn a 50 percent interest in the property by investing one (1) million dollars in exploration work over the next three (3) years. The initial work will consist of diamond drilling Diamond Drilling is a highly specialized industry used for mineral exploration around the world. Most commonly using wireline and core bits with diamond encrusted matrix. To drill holes to max depths of twelve thousand feet, for the recovery of core used in verifying mineral   on the extensions of the De Maures deposit as well as some drillings outside of the deposit. Diamond drilling on the Yorbeau deposit and its extensions over many kilometres is also planned.
