Ansyr's flagship product is Primer(TM), a family of PDF viewers for Palm, Pocket PC and Windows CE devices, which gives mobile workers secure, on-the-spot access to vital information on handheld devices and Internet appliances -- service and maintenance documents, forms, records, plans/drawings, reference manuals, etc. -- whatever they need ... anywhere they go.

With this latest version of Primer PDF viewer software, Ansyr, a member of the Palm Solution Provider program, has responded to the Palm community's need to access vital information on the road. Norm Levy, Ansyr's president and CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board. , says "Most handhelds work extremely well, but a purchaser needs to determine his/her needs before selecting a specific PDA (Personal Digital Assistant) A handheld computer for managing contacts, appointments and tasks. It typically includes a name and address database, calendar, to-do list and note taker, which are the functions in a personal information manager (see PIM). . That's why Ansyr's vision is for Primer to be a universal document viewer, we want mobile workers to be able to view and navigate critical documents no matter what handheld they have. By adding Primer for Palm to our existing line of PDF Viewers (for Pocket PC and Win-CE devices), we're really on our way to realizing that vision of universality."

According to Ansyr's VP of Marketing, Warren Schirtzinger, "Companies all over the world already archive customer records, reports, forms and manuals using PDF and Primer is a natural extension of that function. We make that valuable information portable, which is especially important to field workers and those in manufacturing, logistics and warehousing." Schirtzinger adds, "And, our users appreciate how important quality is to Ansyr -- we're always looking to improve what we do. We're already working on improvements based on user feedback to our new Primer for Palm." Future Primer versions will also read XML XML
