AnswerThink Consulting Group, Inc., (Nasdaq:ANSR) (www.answerthink.com) today provided an update on its quarterly performance in anticipation of its forthcoming merger with THINK New Ideas, Inc., expected to be completed on November 3, 1999. Management reported that revenue and earnings per share would be at the top of its previously provided estimated range for the third quarter of 1999. This represents revenue growth in excess of 70% over third quarter 1998 levels. Management also indicated that it will release its third quarter results on November 9, 1999, to coincide with the release of THINK New Ideas' results, and that it will host a joint conference call on that date to discuss the vision and progress of the merged companies.

Upon the merger, THINK New Ideas will become a wholly owned subsidiary of AnswerThink, creating a comprehensive "end-to-end" e-business solutions leader for existing and prospective customers. The merged companies are expected to commence with a new branding and marketing initiative during the fourth quarter of 1999 and extending into the new year, focusing on the companies' total e-solutions capabilities.

Previously, AnswerThink reported that its stand-alone revenue was expected to be $53 million to $54 million for the third quarter of 1999, with earnings per diluted share of approximately $0.11 to $0.13.
