AnswerSoft and Aristacom announce letter of intent for distribution; Aristacom to extend its call center support to desktop solutions.


PLANO, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 3, 1996--Plano-based AnswerSoft Inc., a developer of business process automation software, and Aristacom International Inc., a provider of computer telephony See CTI, VoIP and IP telephony.

The term initially referred to the company that made the products (the "original" manufacturer), but eventually became widely used to refer to the organization that buys the products and  agreement whereby Aristacom will distribute AnswerSoft's family of client/server solutions for call center automation.

AnswerSoft products automate business processes that support customer transactions which rely heavily on quick response and easy data access and retrieval. Automation of repetitive agent tasks is accomplished by leveraging the integration of telecommunications technologies and local area networks at the desktop.
