Snyder said that the Oak Ridge facility can hold about 450 people, but that it's only occupied by 130 people right now. Snyder said the company will retain a majority of the InsLogic's employees, and plans to expand in the new facility.

"We're chock a block full in Encino, and the building we're in right now has no additional space. Some of the growth we anticipate during the next year will take place (in Oak Ridge)," Snyder said.

Answer employs 600 people in Encino, and Snyder said there are no plans to eliminate any of its local call center positions.

The company credits its search engine created in 1998, the Insurance Answer Center, with its growth. The company claims that it has delivered more than 20 million quotes for insurance products in all 50 states.

Answer, Snyder said, was the first company to offer online comparisons of multiple insurance products online.

Snyder said that Answer, a private company, has experience double-digit growth for the last three years.
