Anrews R300 water heater wins approval at Trophy Foods. (Plant & Equipment).When designing the hot water services for cooked meat processors Trophy Foods at their new factory at Wednesbury recently, Andrews Boilers and Water Heaters had to provide a system that would supply high water volumes constantly, efficiently and reliably. Two SupaFlo R305 water heaters satisfied the specification. Trophy's factory has several food preparation areas, each with two or three handwash sinks, separate food preparation sites, washdown Washdown (also wash down) is the process of high-pressure cleaning with water and/or chemicals in industries such as food and beverage and pharmaceuticals. The SupaFlo water heaters are sited in a plant room on the ground floor of the large two-storey factory building. Mains cold water is brought to a storage tank above the plant room and then passes through a booster set that boosts it up to 3 bar. One of the supplies from that 3 bar system feeds the two SupaFlo water heaters, which circulate hot water to a specially manufactured stainless steel stainless steel: see steel. stainless steel Any of a family of alloy steels usually containing 10–30% chromium. All hot water at sinks is regulated down to 40[degrees]C by hot water mixing valves. Whilst Andrews's R300 range offers nominal outputs from 70-274kW with footprints from 0.5[m.sup.2] * to 0.75[m.sup.2] respectively, the R305s installed at Trophy Foods each has an output of 185kw.
