Anova Solutions Announces NCCM Cell Model, Library Characterization Enables Fujitsu Microelectronics Release 40n Libraries.

SANTA CLARA, Calif. -- Anova Solutions Inc., an EDA (1) (Electronic Design Automation) Using the computer to design, lay out, verify and simulate the performance of electronic circuits on a chip or printed circuit board.  company focusing on timing and power analysis, announces its NCCM NCCM National Car Care Month (April)

(Nonlinear Continuous Cell Model) and the new release of its cell library characterization software ChronoVA-LC for the NCCM. Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited used the software characterizing its 40n process standard cell libraries. In addition to the characterization of its statistical timing model, NCCM supports industry standard timing and power models such as CCS (1) (Common Channel Signaling) A communications system in which one channel is used for signaling and different channels are used for voice/data transmission. Signaling System 7 (SS7) is a CCS system, also known as CCS7. See SS7. , CCS Compact, CCS Power, ECSM ECSM Electrochemical Spark Machining

 and ECSM power.

"We used ChronoVA-LC, characterized more than 40 corners of our 40n process node cell libraries which is corresponding to MSV within 3 days. We are pleased to have unified library characterize software from Anova to support all the industry cell models (CCS, CCS COMPACT and ECSM)," says Noboru Yokota, General Manager of technology development division, common IP & Technology Development Unit, Fujitsu Microelectronics Limited, "Fujitsu is also offering statistical timing cell libraries to our 40n ASIC (Application Specific Integrated Circuit) Pronounced "a-sick." A chip that is custom designed for a specific application rather than a general-purpose chip such as a microprocessor.  and COT customer for using ANOVA's statistical static timing analysis Conventional static timing analysis (STA) has been a stock analysis algorithm for the design of digital circuits over the last 30 years. However, in recent years the increased variation in semiconductor devices and interconnect has introduced a number of issues that cannot be handled by  on timing sign-off."

"NCCM as our kernel model is providing a continuous non-linear response to Process, Voltage and temperature for logic standard cell timing, and power, with which customer can generate any PVT corner library from a previous characterized database without spending days and weeks on library characterization. It also helps today's multi-voltage design and dynamic voltage scaling for low power design," says Jun Li, CEO (1) (Chief Executive Officer) The highest individual in command of an organization. Typically the president of the company, the CEO reports to the Chairman of the Board.  of Anova Solutions Inc.
