Negri Bossi Inc., Mississauga, Ont., is the second injection-machine maker to offer the latest Twinshot single-barrel coinjection technology developed by Twinshot Technologies of Rifton, N.Y. This second-generation system converts a standard injection press to coinjection by means of a special two-stage screw screw, simple machine consisting essentially of a solid cylinder, usually of metal, around which an inclined plane winds spirally, either clockwise or counterclockwise.  and barrel. In this system, one material is plasticated in the first screw stage and then is fed into a channel through the center of the second stage. The second material is plasticated in the second stage. The two materials then join through a valve at the screw tip and are injected in·ject·ed
