Another small record grabbed my attention. It seems the world is in a sort of skate rock revival, as I keep seeing records with skate-related songs and covers.


Another small record grabbed my attention. It seems the world is in a sort of skate rock Skate rock is mainly a term used for rock, punk, emo and heavy metal bands, generally from the 1980s and the 1990s, who were involved in the sport of skateboarding. Some prime examples of skate rock bands are McRad, JFA, the Faction, the Big Boys, Agent Orange, Suicidal Tendencies,  revival, as I keep seeing records with skate-related songs and covers. Chalk up Hit Me Back as one of the good ones (believe me, some have been real stinkers). They've got a classic thrashy olde-tyme sound going, almost like Excel, with a sort of posi-core 7 Seconds attitude. And with songs like "Skateboarding skateboarding
