Anonymous Content Enlists Genex to Provide Extranet Solution to Streamline Commercial Production.

Internet consulting and development firm Genex (www.genex.com) and Anonymous Content, a commercial, music video, film and television production company, have collaborated to implement a breakthrough extranet designed to simplify commercial production.

The project, led by the technical team at Genex's Atlanta office, unites colleagues from Atlanta and Los Angeles with Culver City-based Anonymous Content to eliminate redundancies in the production process and ultimately enable production team members from across the globe to work as though they were in the next room.

With its focus on commercial production for advertising agencies, Anonymous had been developing single use extranets for projects that typically lasted only a few weeks. Each project involved management of a full complement of hard and digital assets -- schedules, storyboards, casting videos, crew lists, vendor lists, and reference photos.

Anonymous Content tapped Genex to develop a Web-based project management tool to enhance communication and streamline the information-sharing and project review processes. Genex delivered to Anonymous a standardized, reusable extranet that provides internal teams with a central resource for all project-related information, and business partners with a limited-access visual preview and review system.

The extranet uses a template-based design and structure, and contains functionality consistent with Anonymous' specific needs and requirements. Through the use of content management tools, non-technical Anonymous Content personnel can maintain the extranet, as well as have the ability to roll out a personalized view to project teams.
