Harry Byrne became deputy president and Claire Ighodaro took over as vice-president. The rise in fees by 9 [pounds sterling] for fellows and 8 [pounds sterling] for associates, along with a 4 [pounds sterling] increase in application fees, were also agreed by an overwhelming majority of delegates. These increases will help to fund important initiatives that will further CIMA's influence and awareness of the qualification worldwide. The institute is also aiming to generate a substantial amount of revenue from its wholly owned commercial subsidiary, CIMA Enterprises Limited, delegates were told. Few questions were asked, but one delegate did suggest that it would be useful to include information on staff members and structure in the annual report so that members knew who to contact. It was agreed that council would consider this suggestion carefully. After the AGM, a council meeting was held at which new council members were welcomed.
