This provides an excellent platform for sales in the coming quarters. Preliminary sales in the first three months of fiscal year 2004/2005 are Euro 710 million (previous year: Euro 741 million). Excluding sales from the Web Systems and Digital divisions, which were divested during the current fiscal year, preliminary sales are Euro 602 million, slightly above the comparable figure for the previous year (Euro 595 million). The full financial statements for the first quarter will be published on August 9.

 AG, will resign from the Supervisory Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG with effect from the end of the Annual General Meeting.

The current Chairman of the Supervisory Board, Dr. Klaus Sturany, will resign his post as Chairman once all the seats on the Supervisory Board are occupied again. Sturany, CFO See Chief Financial Officer.  at RWE AG, will remain a member of the Heidelberg Supervisory Board.

Following his forthcoming appointment by the courts to the Supervisory Board of Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG, Dr. Mark Wossner is to replace Klaus Sturany as Chairman of the Supervisory Board.
