since 1971, and some limited information from 1970 and before when I became a member of the PSA (Professional Services Automation) An information system designed to organize, track and manage all opportunities, work, resources, costs, revenues and invoices to improve the productivity and efficiency of the workforce.  Camera Club Committee. It has taken a while to review it ..."

These are the words that Margaret Estes, Hon. PSA, FPSA FPSA Free Prostate-Specific Antigen
FPSA Florida Public Service Association
FPSA Florida Pool and Spa Association
used when she started her letter to me on March 8th of this year. She was ill, suffering with all manner of health issues, using a walker, and facing kidney dialysis Dialysis, Kidney Definition

Dialysis treatment replaces the function of the kidneys, which normally serve as the body's natural filtration system.
, but it never occurred to her to tell me that she was too sick to help me take over the reins of the PSA International Bulletin Contest. In fact, she invited me to call her any time I had a question and even visit her in Charleston where she could describe things to me in more detail. She called me every time she had a thought that I might need to know and she wrote volumes of letters to help me understand the history and the importance of the IBC. She also sent me a box of forms, copies, samples and photos to make sure that I was armed with enough information to run this contest. Exactly a month, to the day, from her letter to me, Margaret passed away. I panicked at first, thinking I was not ready, but I was able to go to the materials that she gave me and deal with the situation. So, if this year's IBC was in any way successful, I owe it to Margaret's love of PSA and her commitment to camera clubs and their health and growth. For the IBC to have been cancelled in 2000, you must know that Margaret had to have been very ill. She felt a huge sense of loss when she was unable to continue.

I want to take this opportunity to thank all of the people who helped me get this contest off the ground. Jack Worthen, FPSA helped me throughout the process. He had revamped a lot of the contest himself and had created many of the forms and processes used this year. Elizabeth Pennock and Lynn M. Rieger did the massive job of receiving entries, organizing them and sending them on to the judges. Jean V. Marani arranged for the judges. And, the judges ... wow, what a monumental task they did!
