Based on the classic tale by Jules Verne, "Around the World in 80 Days" will excite a new generation of moviegoers this summer. The Walt Disney Records Walt Disney Records is a record company and part of The Walt Disney Company.

The label was established in 1956 under the name Disneyland Records; its first release was A Child's Garden of Verses. The company changed to its current name in 1989.
 soundtrack album features original music by Trevor Jones ("League of Extraordinary Gentlemen," "True Colors") with songs performed by Grammy(R)-winner Dave Stewart (The Eurythmics eurythmics or eurhythmics (both: yth`mĭks) ), Tina Sugandh and the Baha Men.

Fabulous adventures, hilarious predicaments, and exhilarating action await an all-star international cast as three unlikely heroes attempt to settle an outrageous wager in Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media's new spectacle for the whole family, "Around the World in 80 Days." An eccentric London inventor, Phileas Fogg (Steve Cogan), has come up with the secrets to flight, electricity and even rollerblades, but the world has dismissed him as a crackpot crack·pot

Featured on the "Around the World in 80 Days Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" is the original song "All Over the World (Join the Celebration)" performed by Grammy(R)-winner Dave Stewart and the Sylvia Young Theater School Choir, "River of Dreams" performed by Hollywood Records recording artist Tina Sugandh, and the Disney classic "It's a Small World It's a Small World (formatted “it's a small world” by the Walt Disney Company) is a popular attraction at several Walt Disney theme parks: Disneyland (in California), the Magic Kingdom (in Florida), Tokyo Disneyland, and Disneyland Resort Paris. " performed by the Baha Men. Trevor Jones composed the score, which also is featured on the soundtrack recording.

The "Around the World in 80 Days Original Motion Picture Soundtrack" is scheduled for release on June 15, 2004, on Walt Disney Records. Walt Disney Pictures and Walden Media present Around the World in 80 Days, which opens in theaters nationwide on June 16, 2004.
