Announcing eLynx Technologies' SMS4D: SMS Text Messaging Lends a Hand to Oil and Gas Industry Alarm Technology.

4D, the latest monitoring and alarming solution engineered specifically for the oil and gas industry. SMS4D uses SMS (short message service) text messaging Sending short messages to a smartphone, pager, PDA or other handheld device. Text messaging implies sending short messages generally no more than a couple of hundred characters in length.  to notify users of remote changes in system status. Coupled with the eLynx web interface, the SMS4D is a powerful tool which allows constant monitoring and response to system malfunctions, and saves time and money in lost production.

SMS4D's exciting innovation utilizes existing cell phone technology to send alarm messages to users. SMS4D requires no new infrastructure making it extremely cost efficient. It offers dependable coverage through 90% of the U.S. and its coastal regions. Installation is quick and easy, and the user can program and administer the alarm system through the easy-to-use web-based interface.

Two eLynx products, CompressorLynx and AlarmLynx, make use of this exciting, new technology. CompressorLynx signals compressor shutdown. AlarmLynx allows up to four inputs which the user can program.
