A new partnership between AMERICAN FORESTS American Forests is a nonprofit conservation organization that promotes healthy forests and urban tree planting.

The organization was established in 1875 as the American Forestry Association, by physician/horticulturist John Aston Warder and a group of like-minded citizens
 and the Environmental News Network allows web users to plant trees free with the click of a mouse.

Specialty retailer Eddie Bauer Eddie Bauer (NASDAQ: EBHI) is a clothing store chain. Headquartered in Bellevue, Washington, and a subsidiary of Eddie Bauer Holdings (formerly Spiegel, Inc.), the company was founded in Seattle in 1920 as "Eddie Bauer's Sport Shop" by its namesake, Eddie Bauer (1899 –  signed on to plant 25,000 trees and quickly met its goal. Then the Shaklee Corporation, a health and wellness company, sponsored 20,000 trees.

Trees planted through webreleaf.com will be counted toward AMERICAN FORESTS' goal of planting 20 million trees for the millennium.
