 conference will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Dearborn, Mich., on October 12 - 13. DELMIA will also hold conferences in Fellbach, Germany, on October 19 - 20, and in Yokohama, Japan, on November 29 - 30.

The North American conference will feature opening day keynote addresses from The Boeing Company's 787 Information Systems Director Carol Pittman, who will talk about the deployment of the Digital Factory and PLM (Product Life cycle Management) A comprehensive information system that coordinates all aspects of a product from initial concept to its eventual retirement. Sometimes called the "digital backbone" of a product, it includes the requirements phase, analysis and design  in the new Boeing 787 Dream Cruiser and an executive presentation from Nissan Motor Company entitled "Virtual Trial for Vehicle Development."
