The Andersons were married March 7, 1943, in Standard, Alberta. They have lived in Eugene for 56 years. Harold Anderson worked for Darigold Creamery creamery: see dairying. . He worked for the Tiffany-Davis Drug Company for 28 years. He was the grounds keeper and custodian for Emmaus Lutheran Church for 20 years, and he continues to be a volunteer grounds keeper. He is a teacher at the church and a member of the church council. He is a former member of the Lion's Club. Dagney Anderson has been an organist for Emmaus Lutheran Church for 50 years and the choir director for 33 years. She was involved in "Plant Whisperer" care for local banks and offices. She is a coordinator for Lutheran World Relief Lutheran World Relief (LWR) is an international nonprofit organization and a ministry of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. It is headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. . She is a member of Women of the Church and the Quilters.
