Harold and Dagny Anderson of Eugene celebrated 60 years of marriage Dec. 28 with an open house at Emmaus Lutheran Church. Hosts were the couple's children and their spouses: John Anderson of Indianapolis; Alan Anderson and Vonna Seal of Warren; Lorine and Kevin McKeeman of Abilene, Kan.; Jeanette and John Jensen of Las Vegas; Marilyn and David Kalstad of Eugene; Reynold Anderson and Marie Lalond of Calgary, Alberta; Dwight Anderson of Sacramento, Calif.; and Melody and Douglas Wisdorf of Seattle.

The Andersons were married March 7, 1943, in Standard, Alberta. They have lived in Eugene for 56 years. Harold Anderson worked for Darigold Creamery. He worked for the Tiffany-Davis Drug Company for 28 years. He was the grounds keeper and custodian for Emmaus Lutheran Church for 20 years, and he continues to be a volunteer grounds keeper. He is a teacher at the church and a member of the church council. He is a former member of the Lion's Club. Dagney Anderson has been an organist for Emmaus Lutheran Church for 50 years and the choir director for 33 years. She was involved in "Plant Whisperer" care for local banks and offices. She is a coordinator for Lutheran World Relief. She is a member of Women of the Church and the Quilters.

They have 15 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

They are members of the Emmaus Lutheran Church.
