) as an independent consultant, serving as Director of Government Affairs, it was announced today.

Cruz, who resigned as policy director to Gov. Scott McCallum to join Cobalt Corporation, has an extensive background in state government in addition to her experience as Gov. McCallum's policy director. From 1990 to 1995, Cruz worked for current Assembly Majority Leader Steve Foti and Senate Minority Leader Mary Panzer. Cruz left state government to pursue a post-graduate fellowship with Aurora Health Care Aurora Health Care is a not-for-profit health care system located in eastern Wisconsin and headquartered in Milwaukee.
