A Saucier [sosˈje] 
, 87, of Worcester, passed away peacefully, Wednesday December 21, 2011 in St. Camillus Nursing Center after a courageous battle with cancer.

Her husband of 38 years, Albert H. "Babe" Saucier passed away in 1987. Anne is survived by her two devoted sons, Michael Saucier and his wife Marilyn of Worcester, Stephen Saucier and his wife Karen of Cumberland, RI; her four cherished grandchildren, Samantha and Julie Saucier of Worcester, Eve Saucier and husband Ian Eder of Columbus, GA, and Nicholas Saucier of Cumberland, RI; a great-grandson Anthony; her brother, Carmen Carmen

Anne was born in Worcester, a daughter of Peter and Lucia (D'Errico) D'Errico. She graduated from Commerce High School and Worcester City Hospital School of Nursing. Anne then enjoyed a successful career as a registered nurse. She worked for many years for Worcester at City Hospital as well as in private duty and in several physician offices most notably for, Dr. Robert Hammond For the evangelist and temperance leader, see .

Robert ("Rob") Hammond OAM (born May 6, 1981 in Townsville, Queensland) is a field hockey midfielder from Australia, who was a member of the team that won the golden medal at the 2004 Summer Olympics in Athens by beating title
 in Worcester.

Anne was a devoted, active member of St. Margaret Mary Church prior to its closing. President of its Women's Guild and Senior Social Club. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and most recently was a parishioner at St. Anne Church in Shrewsbury.

Anne's funeral will be held Friday, December 23rd from MERCADANTE FUNERAL HOME & CHAPEL, 370 Plantation St, Worcester with a Mass at 11:00 am in St. Anne's Church, 170 Boston Turnpike turnpike, road paid for partly or wholly by fees collected from travelers at tollgates. It derives its name from the hinged bar that prevented passage through such a gate until the toll was paid. See also road.  Rd, Shrewsbury. Burial in Notre Dame Notre Dame IPA: [nɔtʁ dam] is French for Our Lady, referring to the Virgin Mary. In the United States of America, Notre Dame  Cemetery will be private. A period of calling hours will be held from 9:00 am to 10:30 am Friday prior to the funeral. The Saucier family would like to thank the staff at St Camillus Healthcare center for the care, compassion and understanding they gave to Anne during a difficult time.
