Anne Arundel County Maryland Selects Quality Associates for New Digital Archiving Project.

COLUMBIA, Md. -- Quality Associates, Inc., an established provider of services and solutions for quality assurance, document management, imaging and archiving, announced that it has won a new contract with Anne Arundel County, Maryland. As part of the contract, Quality Associates will set up a comprehensive, searchable digital archive that will, upon completion, house approximately 975,000 pages of County Council Legislative documents, including Bills and Resolutions, which were previously only available in print. Work on the contract begins immediately and is scheduled for completion later this year.

For this project, Quality Associates will prepare and convert the Anne Arundel County Council's print documentation into searchable PDF archives. Quality Associates will also train the County's Legislative and Information Technology Staff on the day-to-day use and routine maintenance of the digital archiving system. Once the system is in place, County employees will be able to continuously add new documentation to the digital archive on an as-needed basis.

This news follows Quality Associates' recent announcement that it will be moving into a new headquarters in Maple Lawn Maryland in spring 2007. Quality Associates, which is celebrating its 20th year in business this summer, signed a lease agreement for a new building at Maple Lawn, Maryland, a 604-acre, mixed-use community in Howard County, Maryland.
