Anna Phillips to Open The Lash Lounge: First Specialty Salon Dedicated to Eyelashes in Texas.

COLLEYVILLE, Texas -- Anna Phillips, a certified Xtreme Lashes(TM) trainer and technician, announced today that she is opening the first dedicated semi-permanent eyelash extension salon in Texas called The Lash Lounge(TM). The new salon is scheduled to open August 22, with a formal grand opening event on September 15, 2006. The salon is located at 16 Village Lane Suite 150, Colleyville, TX in the Villages of Colleyville shopping center next to the famed Nail Bar.

Ms. Phillips started her eyelash business over two years ago as an independent technician using Xtreme Lashes. She quickly became the prominent "go to" person for eyelashes in the DFW area and has trained and hired six additional technicians since 2004 to help her maintain her growing client base.

"The Lash Lounge is in response to the demand for my eyelash extensions. My clients choose me because I do more than just apply lashes, I focus on designing and shaping the entire eye, using color and different lash counts to create an individual look. Eyelash extensions are no longer a fashion trend for the rich and famous," says Phillips. "They are for any woman who wants to enhance her eyes without surgery or the daily hassle of mascara application and removal."

Demand for Ms. Phillips as a technician continues to grow. Women all over the DFW area and even as far away as Amarillo flock to Anna to have their lashes maintained on a regular basis. She even has several cancer patients as clients undergoing or recovering from chemotherapy. "Eyelash extensions can really help to restore a more feminine look after significant hair loss caused by chemotherapy," says Phillips. "These eyelashes really make a difference in the way women look and feel about themselves."

Ms. Phillips' business has also grown through what she calls "correction" lashes: clients who need their lashes fixed after going to a lesser skilled eyelash extension technician. "This is very meticulous work that requires skill and patience to work with different lash types and lengths," say Phillips. "No matter how short the natural lash, I can find a way to apply the extension and make sure they adhere to last." Ms. Phillips is best known for her skill and artistry as an eyelash technician and her clients all agree that her lash applications just last longer than her competitors. They also say they would cut out other costs in their budget to maintain the eyelash routine in part because it helps to create a more low-maintenance lifestyle without the hassle of mascara.
