Anna Lai New Director at DES Architects+Engineers.

REDWOOD CITY, Calif. -- DES Architects+Engineers, sustainable design experts of high-tech corporate campuses and one of the top ten architectural and engineering firms in Bay Area, appoint Anna Lai to head the newly established department of Visual Communications. The Visual Communications department provides graphic design expertise to support clients in their branding efforts. Lai's innovative approach allows her to shorten the time needed for the branding process. She reports to C. Thomas Gilman, president of DES Architects+Engineers.

Lai has applied her art of branding to a wide range of clients - spanning from high-tech companies to non-profit agencies.

Prior to her appointment as Director of Visual Communications, Anna Lai was Director of Graphic Design at Chong Partners Architecture, Senior Graphic Designer at United Advertising Company in Taipei, Taiwan, and Visual Specialist at Yu-Chen Visual Design Studio in Taipei, Taiwan. Anna Lai earned her bachelor's degree Visual Communication Design from National Taiwan University of Arts. She is a member of AIGA (American Institute of Graphic Arts).
