Ann Taylor Loft doubles up.

GVA Williams of Connecticut announced that it has completed two Westport, CT leases for Ann Taylor Loft: a 4,095 s/f space at 17 Main Street and a 4,517 s/f space at 19 Parker Harding Plaza.

The two spaces, which are adjacent to each other, previously housed shoe store Nine West and home furnishings boutique Lillian August. Combined, the spaces will create a spacious 8,612 s/f two level store, slated to open in spring 2005.

Scott Lifschultz, executive vice president of GVA Williams of Connecticut and Brenda Wurtz, of BW Realty jointly represented Ann Taylor Loft during the negotiation of the 10-year lease. The landlord, Wonkai Associates, LLC, was represented by Felenstein Was & Associates.

The asking rent on both spaces was approximately $55 per square foot.

"We are excited to have played a part in continuing to cultivate a lively retail environment in downtown Westport," Lifschultz said.

"Ann Taylor Loft will certainly be a welcome addition to Westport's shopping district."

This is the second Ann Taylor Loft transaction that GVA Williams has completed in Fairfield County.

The first store opened the week of November 22 in the Darien Playhouse redevelopment in Darien, CT.
