MARLBOROUGH Ann I. (Fontana) Francis Simmons, 74, of Marlborough died at home Tuesday April 14, 2009 surrounded by her family.

She leaves her children, Joseph H. Francis and his wife Dorene of Ashburnham, Daniel M. Francis with whom she lived, David P. Francis and his wife Lisa of Ashburnham and Marlene A. Plante and her husband Steven of Ashby. Also leaves her step father, Philip J. Joyce Sr. of Clinton; and her two brothers, John J. Joyce of Clinton and Philip J. Joyce of Auburn Auburn (ô`bərn).

She was a hostess for over 10 years at Embassy Suites Hotel of Marlborough retiring in 2007; previously as supervisor of housekeeping A set of instructions that are executed at the beginning of a program. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday April 17, 2009 at 10 a.m. in St. John Church, Union St., Clinton. Burial burial, disposal of a corpse in a grave or tomb. The first evidence of deliberate burial was found in European caves of the Paleolithic period. Prehistoric discoveries include both individual and communal burials, the latter indicating that pits or ossuaries were  will follow at St. John Cemetery in Lancaster.
