Ann Getty Supports Red Cross Efforts with Celebrity Lecture at 30th Anniversary Palm Beach Red Cross Designers' Show House.


SAN FRANCISCO San Francisco (săn frănsĭs`kō), city (1990 pop. 723,959), coextensive with San Francisco co., W Calif., on the tip of a peninsula between the Pacific Ocean and San Francisco Bay, which are connected by the strait known as the Golden  -- Ann Getty announced the start of the New Year with her participation in the 30th Annual Palm Beach Red Cross Designer's Show House. She will show her support of the event by speaking on January 13, 2006 as part of the Show House Lecture Series. Her lecture will focus on her personal collections, favorite travels, design inspirations and upcoming projects.

To commemorate its 30th Anniversary, the Show House is featuring a Celebrity Lecture series, with design leaders Mario Buatta, Ann Getty, Sabina Fay Braxton, Jeffery Smith and Miquel Flores-Vianna. The lecture series occurs on January 12, 13 and 14. The Show House itself, open to the public with general admission of $25.00, runs from January 12 through February 4, 2006.

This year's Show House was built in 1925 by Spencer Lainhart and designed by architects Harvey & Clark, famous for their designs of the Palm Beach Town Hall The Palm Beach Town Hall is a historic site in Palm Beach, Florida, United States. . In 2003, after years of creating custom pieces for her clients, Mrs. Getty launched the Ann Getty House The Getty House is the official residence of the Mayor of Los Angeles, California, USA. It is located at 605 S. Irving Boulevard in Windsor Square, a neighborhood just east of the Hancock Park district, and located approximately five miles WNW of Los Angeles City Hall.  Collection, a line of antique reproduction furnishings, with over forty five pieces representing craftsmanship from the 17th, 18th and 19th centuries. The Collection also features accessories, including hand picked porcelain vases, antique textile pillows and fine art pieces.
