Ann Getty Announces New Florida Showroom with J Nelson, Inc., to Showcase Antique Reproduction Furnishings Collection.

MIAMI -- Ann Getty, founder of the Ann Getty House Collection, announced today that she will open a new furnishings gallery in Dania Beach, Florida. She is delighted to begin a new partnership with John Nelson and Michael Kirkland in their furnishings and textile showroom in the Miami area Design Center of the Americas.

Mrs. Getty launched the Ann Getty House Collection in July of 2003 in the San Francisco showroom of Shears and Window. Since then she has also opened furniture galleries in New York and Los Angeles. The addition of a Florida showroom will round out her national representation. The Ann Getty House Collection features over forty antique reproductions and offers custom pieces, artwork and one of a kind accessories.

J Nelson opened in 2002, presenting an extraordinary collection of both antique and contemporary textiles, all representing the depth and tradition of classical weaving and archival design. Michael Kirkland, Design Director for the firm, pursued a partnership with Mrs. Getty after learning about her furniture collection while visiting the Victoria & Albert Museum.

With the advent of their partnership, Mr. Kirkland feels that "...
