Anixter Signs Contract With IBM To Provide Network Cabling Products Worldwide.

SKOKIE, Ill.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 23, 2001

Anixter Inc has signed an agreement with IBM (International Business Machines Corporation, Armonk, NY, www.ibm.com) The world's largest computer company. IBM's product lines include the S/390 mainframes (zSeries), AS/400 midrange business systems (iSeries), RS/6000 workstations and servers (pSeries), Intel-based servers (xSeries)  to provide global distribution of network cabling products. Anixter, a leading distributor of data communications data communications, application of telecommunications technology to the problem of transmitting data, especially to, from, or between computers.
