: ANI) The Board of Directors of Anitech Enterprises Inc. is pleased to announce the appointment of Paul J. Brown as the company's new President and Chief Executive Officer. In addition, Mr. Brown will be joining the company's Board of Directors. The appointment is effective May 1, 1995.

Mr. Brown has been a leading government relations consultant whose firm, Public Finance Consultants, has represented numerous public and private companies at all levels of government. He served in Ottawa as a senior advisor In some countries, a Senior Advisor is an appointed position by the Head of State to advise on the highest levels of national and government policy. PETNET distributes microchips which veterinarians Veterinarians and veterinary surgeons (vets) are medical professionals who operate exclusively on animals. Mr. Kaumeyer praised the tremendous success of outgoing President, Mr. Peter Hug who is returning to the demands of his own thriving private marketing business after two years of leading the company. "Peter's leadership resulted in a sales increase of 70 percent last year, a reduction in overhead expenses of 37 percent, and the elimination of all debt. His marketing and management expertise made PETNET the market leader in microchip identification of pet animals. Peter returns to his private business interest leaving the company in a strong position to continue its growth under the leadership of Mr. Brown," said Mr. Kaumeyer. Mr. Hug has agreed to be available to the company in an advisory capacity. In lieu of contractual obligations owing by the company, Mr. Hug is to receive 400,000 common shares of the company.
