Anitech Breakthrough in British Columbia.

TORONTO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--July 9, 1996--ANITECH ENTERPRISES(VSE: ANI OTC BULLETIN BOARD: ANTTF) Anitech President and CEO Paul J. Brown announced that Anitech has signed an agreement with the British Columbia Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (BCSPCA). Under the agreement the BCSPCA will be using Anitech's PetNet system to scan found dogs and cats for microchip identification at its member branches across the province. This is the first time the BCSPCA has committed to a province-wide microchip scanning program.

"This completes the establishment of Anitech's national pet recovery network across Canada. With animal shelters in British Columbia scanning found animals using Anitech's scanners, we anticipate a significant increase in the number of B.C. dogs and cats that are microchipped using Anitech's PetNet product.
