Although her character's called Eloise, once again Aniston is playing Rachel from Friends - a big-hearted ditz ditz n. Slang A scatterbrained or eccentric person. You can tell she's a bit of kooky type since she drives a pastel-coloured van, has a flower tattoo on her wrist and, for reasons never explained, scrawls inscrutable words such as quidnunc quid·nunc n. A nosy person; a busybody. [Latin quid nunc?, what now? : quid, what; see kwo- in Indo-European roots + nunc, now; see on the walls of hotel corridors. Into her life of quiet desperation is thrown motivational speaker Burke (Aaron Eckhart), who's made a mint helping people realise their inner potential. But, guess what, he's got a few issues of his own, namely unresolved grief over the death of his wife. Throw the pair together and... well, not a lot happens. Heck, they don't even kiss. Instead, there's some gentle flirting and a walkon part for Martin Sheen as the teary father-in-law. And that's it. THE REEL LOWDOWN low·down n.
