In liturgical importance it ranks after Easter, Pentecost, and Epiphany (Jan. 6). ? We rely on income from our charity shops - and as Christmas approaches, most PDSA shops need more volunteer helpers. You can really make a difference by helping us sort donations, working behind the counter and displaying stock. As well as helping our pet patients, becoming a PDSA volunteer is a great way to meet new people and learn new skills to boost your CV. All volunteers get full retail training, so no prior experience is necessary and shifts can be arranged to suit other commitments. If you're interested, please call our volunteer centre on (0800) 854194 or visit our website at www.pdsa.org.uk. We look forward to hearing from you. JANET COMPTON, Head of Volunteering PDSA.
