CS/HB 219--Gertrude Maxwell Save a Pet Act

This bill creates a direct-support organization within the Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Consumer Services refers to the formulation, deformulation, technical consulting and testing of most consumer products, such as food, herbs, beverages, vitamins, pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, hair products, household cleaners, [paints, plastics, metals, waxes, coatings, minerals,  for the purpose of providing grants to animal shelters "Dog Pound" redirects here. An animal shelter is a facility that houses homeless, lost or abandoned animals; primarily a large variety of dogs and cats.
